Suns Snack

My love for the Suns far surpasses my hatred for the Lakers. Thus, instead of harping on a loss, I will choose tonight to celebrate my team- a team in the truest sense of the word. They play with passion and love for one another and for the game. They are very inspiring to watch. And I would go on dates with all of them. Here's to my Phoenix Suns.

Sir Paul SnackCartney

Daddy snagged Mommy tickets to Paul McCartney in Phoenix this past weekend. They said it's her birthday. Well, they were right, cos it was. So she was the luckiest lady in town, and I was the luckiest daughter around because I was blessed with several Sir Paulian voicemails. I've saved them all and listened to them by the scores.

Here's the setlist for the show she attended:

Venus And Mars
Rock Show
Jet
All My Loving
Got To Get You Into My Life
Highway
Let Me Roll It
Foxy Lady

The Long And Winding Road
Nineteen Hundred And Eighty Five
(I Want To) Come Home
My Love

I'm Looking Through You
Every Night
Two Of Us
Blackbird
Here Today
Dance Tonight
Mrs. Vandebilt
Eleanor Rigby

Something
Letting Go
Sing The Changes
Band On The Run
Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da
Back in the USSR
I've got a feeling
Paperback writer
A day in the life
Give peace a chance

Let it be
Live And Let die
Hey Jude

Day Tripper
Lady Madonna
Get back

Yesterday
Helter Skelter
Sgt. Pepper's ( reprise )
The End

That's right. FORTY SONGS. Way to go, Pauly, you made my mom's LIFE.

And in the birthday card my dad gave my mom that morning:

"If Sir Paul asks you backstage tonight, GO FOR IT!!!!!!!!"

If that don't prove my parents are Supreme Beings, than I DON'T KNOW WHAT

SUNSnack

I got a new JOB. Same place, different occupation. So I'm comin into some money. First thing I'm buying? Plane ticket home to see mah first SUNS GAME SINCE the Age of MAJERLE. Hopefully it will be a playoff spot.

Saw a guy in Soho wearing a Suns hat yeserday, made me smile wide

Segue that into this: I left my Famous Hat in a cab or somewhere. It is the hat that my grandma made for me, ze one she asked me if i vahnted it vis puffbahllz or not.

In other otros news, this is legit:

Makes me miss all the desert minstrel parties I would have with my friends in Arizona. (Actualement, I never did that. But maybe in the 48 hours of Suns time, we can make it happen for the first and not the last time. Also, maybe grandma will teach me to knit.)
